Phoenix 98516 Easy Up Manual Treadmill

If you are looking to get fit but you’re on a tight budget, the Phoenix 98516 Easy Up Manual Treadmill is definitely the way to go. It may not have all the fancy perks that the pricier treadmills have, but it gets the job done and you don’t have to mortgage the house in order to afford it.

The treadmill is powered by foot power – not a motor. This is actually an advantage if you think about it. You control the workout with your stride. If you want to kick it up a notch, walk or jog faster, the same goes for slowing it down. You don’t have to push a serious of annoying buttons.

It is not completely technologically void. It does feature a single button monitor that monitors how fast you’re going, how far you have walked, how long and how many calories you’ve burned off. The walking surface is 14.5″ x 13.5″, a decent size that is capable of handling up to 250 pounds. The total dimensions of the treadmill are 46″ x 21″ x 50″ when it is open and 22′ x 21′ x 50′ when folded. It folds into an upright position and allows for easy storage in a closet or narrow space.

We give the Phoenix 98516 Easy Up Manual treadmill a 4 on a scale of 1-5. It is a great bargain for anyone looking to get in shape without spending a lot of money.
